Pinterest是一個新興的字彙，係由Pin（圖釘）和Interest（興趣）組合而成。簡單來說，Pinterest提供一項有趣的網路剪貼簿服務，讓大家可以把自己感興趣的事物，用圖釘釘在釘板（Pinboard）上，以簡便的方式進行組織，並與有相同喜好的朋友們分享。
